Do they affect the accuracy of any given SBR/pistol as apposed to a plain threaded barrel (no FH) ?

Most likely 'no' for such a short barrel.

Point of impact is affected often with real cans on rifle-length barrels however.  Something to do with barrel harmonics, vibration and the weight of the can.

It would be minimal. I have a Spikes fake can on my 5.5" just to keep the blast from coming through my hand guards. The can is very light weight.

We offer different models for different reasons. Tell me what you intend to do with it and what configuration your building and Ill let you know what fits your application the best. The only one we offer that "could" change the POI would be the ET-1, All the other models go back over the barrel not foward.

I don't know how, but yes, accuracy is affected using a fake can on my 5.5" 22LR dedicated barrel.

I bought a tactical innovations quest suppressor a while back and a fake can to go along with it for when I'm not shooting suppressed (so that the handguards dont get all dirty'd up).

The gun is plenty accurate with and without the can, however the groups open up when I put the fake can on.  There are no strikes or any other evidence that the 22 bullet is hitting the fake can at all.

Go figure.......

So I just shoot using the can and wind up having to take apart and clean more often.
