| I'm planning on doing another build, well just an upper. I don't want something that everyone else has and I already have five in 556. While looking around at different calibers, I found the 7.62X40mm WT. Does anyone have any experience with this? |
| Suggest you consider the 6.8 SPC. Brass, factory ammo and plenty of suitable bullets are readily available. Because of its relatively high expansion ratio, it reaches it peak power in shorter barrels. My 16" barrels produce 2800 fps with 100 grain bullets, while avoiding excessive pressures.
