I have recieved my new RRA .458 Socom upper.  I'm trying to locate a lower receiver (preferably with the parts kit installed) that is not caliber specific, or marked 5.56/223, etc......I think I may have seen some lowers that were marked "Multi" under the caliber designation, but cannot recall where.  Thanks as always!

Denny's GTS lowers don't have caliber markings.  I've used a couple of these with no problems.

ETA - The link is to a stripped lower.  You might have to call and ask for a complete lower.

Stay in touch, I just picked up a RRA 458 upper at the funshow last weekend.

It's going on a DPMS 223 lower.

You're half right.  There's the .308/.260 size, and the .223/everything else size.  The OP, like many of us, is trying to avoid putting a .458 upper on a .223-marked lower.  It will fit and work mechanically, but just looks wierd.

FWIW, I have used lowers from GTS and Mega, and they both work great.
