[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Noob Needs Help

I just put together my first Build and want to put some good ammo down the barrel to check things out before I start shooting some of the cheaper bulk stuff.

My question is what ammo would you recommend? Should i go with some Black Hills, Hornady, or even something like Tubbs Final Finish Bore Conditioning ammo (saw it on Cabelas website, claims to break in the barrel)? Also what grain should I use?

I know it is a lot of questions but I really appreciate the help!

What are the specs on the barrel? I would stay away from the Tubbs until you see how it shoots. The tacked threads might help some too.

The barrel is just a DD Chrome Lined barrel
