Hello everyone, just wanted to say that this web site kicks ass. I've wanted an AR for many many years and I just got my first one. I really love the black rifle, I got a bushmaster m4 a3 and I just love it. I've been reading here for a month or so and signed up for an account. Lots of good informative info here at this site. Still alot of terminology and stuff I dont understand. I'm trying to read through threads and stickys so you guys are not having to answer the same damn questions 100 times.
First thing I need for my rifle is some mags. and this is a bit puzzling. I understand this place having a 30 round for 12 bucks, another place for 15, or this place for 25. What I dont get is why cheaper than dirt has 6 different 30 round mags made by bushmaster ranging from 12 dollars to 25 or 30. Whats the difference? and what does anti tilt mean? anyway, thanks in advance for the info, you guys rock. I'm proud to be in the brotherhood of the "black rifle". |

First don't shop at cheaper than gold. There are many other reputable sites that didn't try and screw people during the las panic
As far as mags go magpul pmags and USGI mags are all you should look at at the moment. Anti tilt means the follower is designed so it won't tilt as the spring wears out. |
| Thanks alot, I've been reading for a while and it looks like most people like the poly mags better. I've had some rotten luck with zytel mags in the past with a cobray m11. So thats why I was thinking that the steel or aluminum mags were the best. Lots of people are steering me towards the poly's though. Been checking out alot of the links here and yeah, looks like better prices than cheaper than dirt. Thanks again |
