I am in the thought process of a build. I don't want to go low end, but can't afford the upper end either. I came across a Spikes Tactical 16" 5.56 Mid-Length M4 LE Barrel for $180. Is that a decent/good barrel and is the price good?

+1. I have two of their barrels, 20" and 16", great shooters. Very accurate.
Nothing wrong with Spikes either, I just haven't used one of their barrels yet. Other parts, yes, barrel, no.

I had the LE barrel for exactly 18 shots that went to point of aim. I just replaced it with a Spikes CHF barrel that was just a little bit lighter
