A few years ago when I first signed up on AR15.com I noticed problems people were having and stuff like that.  Mostly minor stuff.  90% of what  I use to see on here was gas block related problems or short-stroking.  After being gone a few years and returning I see different problems and new problems people are having.  This has kinda bothered me little.  One of two things are happening.  Seems to me either new people are getting into the firearms scene which is great, or two manufacturing has went down hill.  Things that might be able to help people are some TM's and FM's.  I'm just wondering that since demand is up so much that the companies are getting sloppy or people are not getting training on their new "black rifle".
Check your gear each time before you use it, lube if needed, check for obstructions, if it don't move smoothly don't force it.  Don't be afraid to ask for help on how to use your new firearm.  I would rather see someone ask for help then hear about how a accident caused someones injury or even worse death.  Remember have fun, be safe and most of all don't be afraid to ask for help.  Plenty on here to help!!!!

TMs are available.
Many videos from many sources are available.
Books are available.
Many shops have CNC these days.
Having CNC does not make a shop a good manufacturer; it just means they can repeat a mistake many times before catching it.
Many new people building with no training or experience.
One in particular did not know how the barrel went into the upper or how you tell which is the top of the barrel.

Everything every needed for reference/assembly can be found on the front page of this site, bottom-left (www.ar15.com) under
Articles and Documents.

But the key is to actually do the needed research before hand, including just reading the owners manual before putting the weapon into service.
