I was going to a heavier profile barrel to better support the weight of my can. I ordered an Afghan but just couldn't bring myself to put a stainless barrel on what I consider to be a combat weapon. Ordered up a BCM BFG 14.5 middy & a Switchblock. Cut the rail in the appropriate spot with my band saw. Took the gas tube off the Switchblock, installed & re assembled. Very happy with this setup. Makes a big difference with the can. |

Yea, my bad. I spell lots of things wrong. Is that a factory cutout on that rail or did you do it yourself? Looks good either way. Yes sir, factory 12.5" N4 switchblock like jboy said. I have another 12.5" N4 with a KAC URX2 rail (no switchblock). Love the 12.5" barrels. |
