| Even thought its nothing special, I honestly like this trigger. Does anybody know how long they last? Or where I can get the same one? Their website doesn't seem to have one. Also are the geissele triggers really worth it? I'm not by any means into bench shooting. |

Noveske used to put plain jane mil-spec triggers in their rifles. The one mine came with was terrible (the rifle itself is amazing however). I upgraded to a Geissele SD-E...that's the one you want for an SPR type rifle.
Noveske is now using the ALG Defense ACT trigger, which you can buy for $65 just about anywhere. It's Bill Geissele's wife's company, mind you...so it's basically a mil-spec trigger that's been reworked and refinished by Geissele. MUCH smoother pull, and the break is a lot more crisp...and to me felt a bit lighter than most mil-spec triggers. Not all Geissele triggers are for bench shooting...in fact most of them are well-suited to a HD/SHTF scenario. My SD-E works great for hunting, contrary to popular belief. |
