I just recieved my oko sight with roll cage  that i bought off the EE for a really great price. Ive read good things about them but i just wanted to hear your thoughts on them. Do they hold zero prtty good , and about how long will a battery last? Please post any opinions or info. Thanks.

I had one for a while.  It wasn't bad at all.  There were two issues I had with it.  The first, it didn't have click adjustments for elevation and windage.  You just turn the screws and guess when to stop.  The other problem I had was when I went shooting while it was snowing.  After about 5 minutes, the window was wet with flakes and rendered it useless.  Would a tube red dot be better in the snow?  I don't know

Other than that, it is a great sight for the money.  Enjoy

I talked to a guy from, well, who cares. I hate to start off that way. Anyway, we are getting ready to test this product out (OKO). We are going to use the SC4 steel cover with our test also. I talked to the guy who imports this product and was told he is working on getting the filter to use with NVG's. May I ask how the abive sight was damaged? I will post our results if there is an interest.

Basically, it was attached to a 3.9lb gun, and tipped out of the safe onto the floor.   That's it.   Shattered.

I had the metal shield, but wasn't using it.

the battery life on these are great.

zero is okay.

I believe the plastic  mounts on  these are very weak. Didn't take long for mine to break.

Thanks for the info. I think the SC4 cover will be a vast improvement over the SC3. It claims a quick detach ability with return to zero upon reattach. We'll see about thathinking.gif. It WILL be dropped from various realistic heights. The M model has a pressure switch to activate the sight but, they are not imported anymore as far as I know. I was also told, by the importer, that it didn't hold up well.
