I'm looking to find a gunsmith that specializes in the AR-15 rifle. I have a 20" HBAR upper and need to get the existingfront sight base removed and a new sight base drilled and installed. I live in Georgia but someone out of state will be great as long as they provide top-notch service. Thanks!

I live in Macon, GA and we don't have a gunsmith anywhere in the Middle Georgia area. Any work I need done I just send my gun to the factory and let them handle it.

Once you decide to mail it out, I'd stick with one of the known quantities. I've heard nothing bad about any of the smiths listed in the posts above. Waiting time can be an issue, but that varies on a case-by-case basis.
