Any good for weopon mount? I just held the tiny T-10 version at 190 lumens. Wow was this bright. Can it handle the punishment of a rifle though?

Is that anything like an O-face?

O light is good.  Fenix Flashlights are definitely weapon worthy as well.   Or you can go to TNVC's website and get Surefire 6P or G2 with a CREE LED drop in for around $100 and they are over 200 lumens.

I have the Olight M20 on my AR.  Nice light and handles the recoil so far without any problems. I think their web site says it puts out 230 lumens.

just posted pics on another thread of both the Fenix tk12 and the Olight m20 warrior.  I have both and don't let the fanboys try to tell you otherwise, they are just as good as Surefire.  When you factor in the price difference, I'll never buy another Surefire.  You can buy either one of the first two mentioned and have plenty left over for ammo, mags etc, etc, etc, ......

Just bought the small one battery T-10. 1/3 the price of the comparable surefire, and more than twice the output. Also 5 levels of brightness, strobe and sos modes....good bye surefire, nice knowing ya.

Olight is a GREAT light.  Fenix's are good too..I actually plan to buy a TK12 for my rifle and use my Olight M20 Warriors back as a search light

Just an FYI the T series Olight flashlights are not for weapon mounting. The M series flashlights are one of the few flashlight series that are actually shock tested to military standards. They are designed to handle the shock of repetitive recoil. The T series lights are for hand carry and personal use not weapon mount. Though the LED itself is extremely rugged the circuitry is not. If the small circuit board that runs the light is not strong enough or shock isolated it will fail.

The Olight M series lights are quite possibly the most advanced weapon lights in the world from a major manufacturer. They use the newest LED technology before anyone else does. That said the Fenix lights are very nice (handled and used almost all of the T series and carry the LD01 daily). If they made a pressure switch that didn't have the stupid curly cord I might buy one for my bullpup.

Out of curiosity, what data are you using to formulate your conclusion?

What is the warranty on Fenix and Olight?

If a soldier were about to deploy to Iraq or Afghanistan, would you recommend a Fenix or an Olight to them over a Surefire/Streamlight/Insight etc? Have you tested yours thoroughly enough in combat conditions to feel confident enough to advise someone to bet their life on it?
