On 3 of my 30 rounders (Parsons pre-ban, all 3) cartridge #29 will not feed.  1-28 feed and fire no problem, then on #29 the bolt skips right over. #30 feeds no prob.  I just installed new green followers and springs.  Just thought this was odd that it happens on all 3 mags.  My new D&H mags are no problem at all, they function perfectly.

Did you have that problem before you replaced the spring and followers? Any other mags that you could swap the springs and follwers with?

sounds like poor quality spring to me.....

if you wanna just take'em out and stretch em a bit longer your self and replace back into mag...

you will need new springs again shortly though...

Thanks for the replies guys..  Yes I did have problems with these mags before.  They would fail to feed but at any time, not just on one specific round. Also the last shot hold open would not work sometimes.  All this has gone away except the #29 fail to feed.  I will try new springs next week.  Thanks again.

BTW - The springs were bought as part of mag rebuild kits from DPMS.

There's always Wolff springs.  Brownells has them.
