I just decided last week to build one of these. This is all I’ve got so far  The handguard will be here Wednesday and the bolt on Friday. I can’t decide if I should use it on one of my stamped lowers, stamp another just for this or go with a folding brace.Attached File |

Just finished it up last night. 95 rounds so far. One hiccup while trying spacer material between the strike industries adapter and bcg. It’s a PSA bolt, bore buddy 7” bbl. Chopped alg rail, MBT, SiCo Sparrow. Mostly parts from the parts bin. It’s freaking awesome and fun as hell. I blame @tct1000 for this build, as yours was what pushed me over the edge to build an AR22. Attached File |

An update. I was using the sig minimalist stock originally but my kid was shooting with it and i couldn't shorten the LOP. So i picked up a sig collapsible stock. Such a fun gun! Attached File Attached File |

  Plenty of these parts were modified after purchase. There's a thread in this forum where I documented my development. Parts: Remington 870 12ga youth stock, LPA sights (fiberoptic front), Foxtrot Mike Productions lower w/Hiperfire trigger, AT3 Tactical billet upper (modified), U.S. Mint George Washington spacer, CMMG bolt + barrel, BoreBuddy collar, buffer & weights, buffer pad, Railwoods checkered walnut panels, FMP handguard (modified) and fore charging handle assembly (modified), Breek Arms Warhammer charging handle (modified). Griffin Armament taper mount EZ-Brake. Swivel studs for traditional hunting sling. |

Sorry, but, I've gotta believe the inventor; and so I speculate that there's something amiss with your setup that's causing the issue - an alignment or friction problem somewhere? ETA: Furthermore, it's very well known that shooting .22LR will very quickly clog/plug up the port in the barrel of an AR 5.56x45 firearm when a chamber adapter is used. If one were to try to use a "gas operated" .22LR action, the action would begin to fail after a relatively few rounds as the gas path becomes blocked. MHO, YMMV, etc. |

It was the cheapest, and came in tanodize. Also easy ratcheting install. Has a qd cup that you can put on either side. |

Attached File Borebuddy Tucked Upper 7" barrel w/ 7" rail Borebuddy BCG, aluminum weight, bolt catch, and picatinny stock adapter PSA lower I had laying around Sig MCX folding stock Driven Arms Co Beavertail Vertical Crossover Grip (VCG-L) PSA Enhanced Polished Trigger leftover from another build KAW Valley Precision MACH 3 Modular compensator as a placeholder when not shooting suppressed I was able to shoot it yesterday to get it sighted in. I had a few issues while I was tuning the weight and adjusting the stock adapter. After I figured things out it was working great. |

I know suppressors are a controversial issue for US shooters whereas here in the UK they are readily available. Whilst I have them I rarely use them on my AR15 in .22LR because I shoot mini-rifle and can do without the extra length. Today though, just shooting for fun I put one on, and shooting CCI Standard with only the noise of the action cycling was a lot of fun. I was alone on the range so didn't even need ear protection   For the curious CMMG (Bettermag adapter, so S&W magazines-30 rounds with Magload bases) with CMC drop in trigger, Calibre Innovations handguard, Fab Defense stock and grips, A-Tec modular sound moderator. Vortex 1-8 Strike Eagle in an Aero Precision mount with an offset Burris Firedot. My fun gun. |

My humble contribution. Almost 90% of parts with exception of the lower were acquired from the EE. Bore Buddy match grade barrel, Bore Buddy bolt and weight kit, BCM rail, Right to Bare .22 upper. I am happy to report that this thing is very accurate and insanely fun. Shooting indoors at 25yrds is boring now. It like high velocity stuff, but will shoot CCI standard velocity ammo fine. Thank you to all the members for your used parts!
