This thread is for pics and info on Geissele MK16 rails and rifles with those rails. Clone or not, any length, any color, any barrel length. There are MK16 rails compatible with USGI uppers and there are MK16 rails which are mated to a specific upper that come with Geissele Super Duty URGs and rifles. This is a list of the ones compatible with USGI uppers. Here's some (bad) pics of my green 13.5" MK16 and ACH. They look kinda tanish in the pics, but in person they're a super pretty green anodizing.

I'm not a photographer, but my OD Green MK16 kit came today as well. I agree the photos don't do it justice; the green is amazing. I wish I could have purchased an ODG 9.3" MK16 along with the DDC I got.

My guess would just be the number of rails available. Probably more 13.5s to go around so they did more colors. Probably figured black and DDC are their main colors and probably the most popular so just did the 9.3" in those colors. Quoted:

Green Mk16 kit and Mk4 Federal showed up yesterday. Immediately swapped out my Mk14 DDC for the Mk16. I'm a big fan. https://i.imgur.com/imMu2KJ.jpg Lots of other Geissele goodies here too.... ETA: Never mind. I just realized it's black, not green. |

Wow! This is perfect. Ideally how I want to build mine but it will host an eotech for now until I can get the funds for a LPVO and G mount. Geissele cleaned me out on their BF sale

I thought it was green at first, but then looked at the pic again and thought it was black. I'd love to see that rail in the sunlight just to see how it compares to my green MK16. ODG Mk4 in the sunlight. It's definitely much darker than my Mk16, and has more of a gloss to it, whereas the Mk16 is more matte. Very pretty either way.

Until the form 1 approves, hoping for another 11 day return. Still needs KAC BUIS, and a few other things. RC2 should be out of jail next month. Lighting sucks today because it’s really cloudy, will take some better pics tomorrow. Can’t wait to shoot this Sunday!
