Attached File Old school Noveske stainless barrel is toast. Giving a CHF Geissele barrel a spin next. They seem to be pretty well sorted for general use. |

I was shooting subsonic .22lr at 400m today consistently also. I really didn't want to drop big money on glass for this thing but after today. Smashing 2/3 IPSC at 500m with that thick ass nova reticle. It has be thinking of going back to a Razor or maybe an NX8. |

Attached File I’m really happy with this Geissele barrel so far. With cold weather gloves on from the prone it printed numerous ten shot, 1-1.5 minute groups with the psa 77gr sierra loading. I have zero doubt that it can be tighter with better inputs from the shooter. Gassed really soft with a sci six vented end cap. I will probably back down to an H1 buffer. |

I didn't ever have them side by side so it's just a feeling thing. The dot is red dot bright. There isn't the fisheye effect I get with the nx8 but also it isn't ffp. It feels like a 6x p4xi. I think I got it for under $600 a couple years ago from the ee. It's definitely great around that price point. Or even for 800+ based on what else is available these days. I think the only reason they aren't more ubiquitous is that their distribution channels are weird. |

So, I ordered the .880 and the 1.10, everything shipped quickly as well. |

Very soft, was 100% reliable in the low 20s with and without the can, and I knocked out a ~.8moa 9 round (I can’t count) group. I can’t replicate that every time but the barrel is clearly up for it. |

IIRC one of ya'll had the barrel chopped on your m4a1 Block II RIS II so it was damn near gap-less with the surefire RC2 can... I remember asking, but I cannot for the life of me remember what length it was chopped to. If it was you... What was the length again? And was it length to muzzle or length to the shoulder threads? |

I've got one with cob 13.25" puts the shoulder just inside the rail. Just like a true 10.3" on a MK18 RISII  |

I'm putting one together and was looking for pics, but can't really find any. Surely others have done this: 14.5 Colt SOCOM barrel + Long FF Ras w/MK4 3.5-10 M3 for the optic. Kinda mini Mod 1 ish. Not going to do the AEM can as I'll just use the M42K I already have. Closest thing I could find to the barrel/rail combo is something posted by @MNRidesHonda on pg 142 of this thread, but I think that might be a 13-something. Would love thoughts, feedback, pics, and advice on the scope mount. I think I'm leaning NF Unimount 1.5 w/20moa. |
