I came across an old Bushmaster 5.56 with serial number F00xxx.  This gun is old and looks to be in pretty good shape (for it's age).  Anyone know what year it may have been made?  i'll post pictures as soon as I figure it out.

I thought Bushmaster ARs had either an L or a BFI prefix.

Edited...i think what you have is an old Bushmaster Assault Rifle, from the 80s. Originally made by Gwinn firearms.

You are a master!

It took some searching to verify even with your recollection but found this:

Rare Bushmaster

As that thread says, there is a good reason Bushmaster stopped making these and switched to AR-15s.  I have not seen one in a very long time and if you check Gunbroker you might get an idea of what they sell for but honestly I would pass.

I've had one for years and it still works great.

Mine has both the fixed and folding lowers - the upper is the serialized half on these guns.

No idea what they go for now, sorry.
