Recently a person sold a rifle to me for a project and it had a Lyman all American 6x scope. The scope is in very good shape except for a few cosmetic natural rubs from the case on the bell, optics are clear and crisp. Anyone know much about it? Thanks |

I have been searching high and low for information about it, I will take some photos this weekend and post tehm here. Also some thing that I noticed was the serial number of the rifle, 54,xxx. It is the lowest number that I had ever seen for a Remington 700. |

Pics, Cleaned the scope with some Windex and found some scratches,,, whomever did the cover up was very good at it. None were in the metal or on the glass but the cleaning did reveal several.
