Who likes, and who hates, the Olympic Arms complete upper for the top half of their 20" A2?

In other words, should I be looking for a new upper half?

Thanks...

eh, lots of people have posted complaints about Oly equipment.

That's not saying that I believe them, but I'm still asking...

People tend to dislike a certain member of the Oly staff more than they dislike the product...

I had a complete Oly 20" Service Match upper, and a 16" upper.  Both were well made.  The barrels were Stainless with their "black oxide" finish.  They worked well.  Sold the 20" upper to a LEO friend (who now has this in the trunk of his patrol unit) and one of my sons ended up with the other.  Both of them have enjoyed using them.

What is the matter with yours?

I'm perfectly happy with the upper on my 20" A2 Oly, nice fit and finish, excellent accuracy and it feeds anything I throw at it.  There's a good discussion going on at the Oly Arms owners board concering Oly's feelings on chromed barrels and why they don't like them.  It features that Oly guy that so many here seem to hate, but he's got some interesting ideas concering barrels.  It might be worth reading if you're considering getting rid of the Oly upper just because it's an Oly.  Hell, I'd buy it from you myself, I've still got two Stag lowers looking for new uppers.

It's probably a good indication the people keep offering to buy the thing...

Well I'm convinced. Thanks folks.
