Laser Device tactical Operator lights.
They are suppose to be water proof to 20meters! That's way better than most handheld lights. I know the incadesent light is shock isolated . But does there led light have the same protection? Looks like it would make a good light to mount on my carbine , even though its only 200 lumen. That's fine for my use. |

LED's do not have a delicate filiment to break. |

Back of Fury package states !! Not for weapon -mounted applications Surefire knows it can happen. Take the fury batts out and you can see the green computer chip or what ever its called.. And yes Ive ran incadesent and LED on SA carbines for several years now, I also have a surfire gen 1 G2 thats seen over 3000rds of SA fire and it still has the same bulb. So anyone know if the operator led is potted or has isolated shok.. Maybe I will just email them. |

How many boating accidents in 2012 that were under 20 meters of water? As a hunter it appeals to me to have a rugged water resistant light thats rated over 3meters. Not to worried about the 21foot stand up , I dont go out to far and at 5miles out in the gulf its only 25feet . But would try to dive for carbine. Also a good hand held light on the boat would be nice when the prop gets filled up with rope or line. |
