I'm building a couple SBR's which leaves my S&W M&P Tactical open some new type of shooting. I'd like to start shooting out beyond 200 yrds. I have shit eyesight so I'm looking for magnfied optics, but also want to retain near target capabilities. I saw a set similar to this and thought it may work well:
I'm looking to put a Vortex Crossfire 3x9 50 on the rifle and have a T1 or maybe an RMR on a DD 1o'clock offset mount. Vortex Crossfire Although I'm colorblind and have hard time seeing the red, the Aimpoints work somewhat okay when turned up all the way. I just have a tendancy to lose them when moving from background to background. I don't Aimpont making a green dot anytime soon so its just time to do it. For my SBR, I'm thinking about the 1.5X ACOG in Green. |
