I have had it with trying to make up my mind regarding optics. I have evaluated the ACOG TA31RCO-M4, the EOTech 557.223 and 553.A65 with and without the 4X expander. I have researched this forum up and down but still cannot make up my mind. As a secondary role my AR is in the closet in the event of needing it. Obviously this hurts the ACOG............... Would someone make some good suggestions, please? -Me |
The TA33 are my favorite ACOGS on the market.  You also said the TA31RCOM4 I would recommend the TA31F because they are really the same scope just the RCO has the side 5mil increment lines. You will not every use them.  If you would like a 1-4x that has daytime illumination the MeOpta K-Dot would be a good way to go. For More info here is a link MeOpta Link.  The Leupold MR/T or the CQ/T are also a good way to go. MR/T 1.5-5x  CQ/T 1-3x  The EoTechs are also great for speed and just for fun they are not costly but they are reliable. Any of them would be great if you do not need NV I would recommend the 516 but if you would like to and magnification I recommend the 557.223. As for the Magnifier I would recommend the 3x over the 4x and save your self a few hundred dollars. Here is a link to some EoTech EoTech Link. 557 / 516 look like this.
