Well, I finally pulled the trigger and picked up a RRA Varmint with the flattop and 20" bull barrel. Now I need to put some glass on it. This rifle will be used for doing my part to control the PD population here in CO and some range time.

I would like to know if anyone has some advice on some of the inexpensive scopes out there, ATN, Barska, BSA and the such.

I am particularly looking at either a 4.5-14, 6-20, or 6-24 power with a side focus parallax adjustment and a Mil-Dot reticle. The most important feature is the Mil-Dot reticle.

The only experience I have with scopes that tend to run in this price range is with the Tasco 6-24X42 Varmint scope with the Mil-Dot reticle. I bought one for $85 and put it on my Savage 10FP in .223. I actually liked it so well I bought another one to put on my Savage 93 17HMR.

After dropping the dough on the new rifle, I just don't have the budget to pick up a scope I really want like a Burris Tactical or a Leupold. I figured I'd put an inexpensive one on then upgrade next year.

All advice is appreciated.

Look at the Sightron 6 x 42.  It looks like a good piece of glass for cheap.  A;so, the Bushnell 10 x ?? gets good reviews.

Who carries the Super Sniper? Any of the ARFCOM sponsors? I'd rather not go with a fixed power scope, do they make variables?

Thanks,

Big Thumbs Up for the Bushnell 3200 Elite 10x Scope!

It's a bargain.
