Ive been reading up alot and would like some general opinions on yalls end. I will be doing alot of shooting this spring and then be going off for basic training before summer. I would like to find an optic that can suit my needs later on. Im just wondering if you think I should pick up a mid range uptic (under 500 with mount) now or if I should wait untill I find out what my future shows I will need. I am looking at eotechs and aimpoints stretching the budget slightly on some aimpoints would be ok as long as what I am getting is worth while. What do you think I should get? Also what mounts would be good for the aimpoints. What is the deal with the eotechs with AA batteries. how long does the battery last then and what are the other battery types... Thanks for any help. I will probably buy from csgunworks.com just because I have seen alot of good feedback and they seem like great guys. |
| All your answers are already hear in the various forums. The questions you have asked have been asked a 100 times already. check the Optics forum and start reading. And then wait until your done with Basic/AIT and are assigned to a permanent party station. You'll have a chance to try an Aimpoint. Remember, they will teach you to shoot there way. you just need to be able to listen and do... |
