The power ring on one of my optics is a bit tight, so it needs some help.

For the life of me, I can not find one of those generic (one size fits all ) power ring clamps.

Could someone point me in the right direction........

There are several options like the Cat Tail from 3GunStuff, and the zoom lever from MGM, but I think most of them are scope-specific.

The one I am looking for has threaded ends that the handle screws onto and the excess ends are cut off.

Before buying, check to make sure your scope and scope rings are aligned.  If the rings are not completely concentric or of you do not torque the screws in an alternating pattern, or if you over torque those screws, the scope tube can be in a bind.  This can make the variable power zoom ring hard to turn.  Worth checking.  It should be no more difficult to turn than ut the scope were unmounted.

Exact reason why I need this.  The scope is second hand and the original owner just tightened the rings of the mount till they stopped.
