[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Optics recommendation

Gents,
doing a budget M4 build, CMMG M4 upper, SP1 lower, Tapco furniture, could use a recommendation on optics. Would love an ACOG, EOTECH or Aimpoint but not in the budget yet. Used one of those NCStars on an SKS build and it wasnt bad. Would prefer a 4x scope, probably compact, as opposed to a 1x red dot. Any suggestions appreciated,
