Question on the Optima 2000. Has anyone tried using the two CR2016 instead of the single CR2032 battery ?  If so, is the brightness of the dot doubled or close to ?
Just curious before I give it a try myself.

Thanks,
Mike

I have 2 Optimas myself and have not tried it yet either. My dot is bright enough I haven't felt the need. If you try it let me know what you think, please. Thanks 77hiboy

OK will do

I haven't gotten a chance yet to get outdoors with it in the bright sunlight.

I don't know if the dot is twice as bright with the 2x 2016 batteries, but it is definitely brighter than with a single battery. It's easier to locate the dot. The most noticeable change is that dot is less washed out by bright surfaces.

GunWhoreDer is the guy to go to for a Optima 2000  Haven't had a chance to get out to the range yet and sight it in, hopefully this weekend.

T-moneyThat's the info I was wanting to know....that the dot is less washed out against a light colored surface. Gonna pick up some CR2016's on my way home from work tomorrow.
