I'm looking to order a bunch of surplus .30-06 so I can stop blowing through premium stuff for practice. 150 gr FMJ or SP is what I'm looking for. I was pointed in the directions of ammunitiontogo.com Has anyone heard of/used this site to order from? They have good security measures, but their About Us link doesn't work so I'm cautious. Any other websites you guys can recommend? J&G is unfortunately sold out of Greek, but they have S&B 150 gr soft point that I may order Thanks guys |

No reason to be cautious at all- they are good to go. Never have heard of a horror story in many years of paying attention, and as a customer. There was a thread asking the same question about them somewhere here not too long ago with tons of "good people" responses. Without question stand-up people- AND they get some great stuff that's hard to come by. |

I'd go with CMP ammo. It's Greek. Headstamp = HXP. Produced to M2 spec. (FMJ bullet, 150 gr, will attract a magnet but, NOT AP) for use in the M1 Garand (and any other rifle that uses .30-06). The cases are brass, there is a slight primer crimp and it's re-loadable. Best of all...........the price is right.
