I have a Colt Sp1.I bought a Orginal Factory Colt 4x20 Scope and mounted it on my Colt SP1.It mounted with no problem and when I tried to put on Factory Dust Cap the front one went on perfect but the problem is that the rear dust cap can't fit properly on the eye lens, because of the upper reciever(Carring Handle) is in the way.My question is, has anybody else had this issue? And the rear eye lens is not toching the upper reciever but only about a .75mm of gap between the two.All help on this issue will be helpful...Thanks

Is it catching on the rear sight. I have one of these scopes and it doesn't fit with the rear sight.

No ,the scope is not touching the rear sight and there is about .75mm gap between the top handle and the bottom of the scope just enough so the cap will not fit on properly. So your's hits your top handle. This has to be a design issue.I wish Colt would have corrected this issue a long time ago.

I wonder if anybody has had this issue on Colt's 3x20 scopes.
