I saw this on GB and tried to get it, but I stopped at $575, kind of wish I'd went higher.

The 601 sold for $705, the "VP 12" proofed barrel sold for $600.

The 601 was the last one I had. the same for the barrel.

I put a bid on the early barrel he had listed with it but, was also outbid by the same buyer. Would have loved to have it for my 602 build but, too rich for my blood. Just keep looking it's all still out there somewhere..

WTF??? $705 for an UNBARRELED receiver? I know it's a 601 but that's freaking insane.

I paid $245 for my barreled receiver w/o handguards....

I paid $85 for my unbarreled upper.  Sad thing is that it was only a year or so ago.  Got it from that Panama guy who was selling a shitload of uppers on GB.

I tried to buy it myself but I was done at $ 600 on the upper and $550 on the barrel. I guess that being said I suppose an MVP marked barrel would not be to out of par for a 602 upper would it  ?

Makes my $55 601 receiver look really, really good right about now!
