This is kinda strange to me... Maybe I am just to picky but I that is just how i am with firearms

Basically I purchased 2 BCM Buffer tubes and they will not rotate close enough to the buffer retaining pin... It binds up against the buffer retaining pin about 90 degrees away from where it needs to be .. Only way I can run it is how the pictures shows it below... Its a very thin portion of the buffer retaining pin contacting the buffer tube so it concerns me ... This is the case with both of BCM tubes I purchased

I thought well maybe its my lower? So I tried another lower with the same result... Then i took a PSA buffer tube and it threaded on properly...

BCM on Left.... PSA on right

That buffer tube looks good to go to me. As long as it holds the buffer retainer in place you should be fine. If it really bothers you, you can notch the tube, but there really is no need.

Not a problem.

Its fine. I actually worry about receiver extensions that cover too much of the buffer retainer pin. The farther the tube screws in, the less spring travel for the buffer. Not seen problems with tubes that go too far, but kinda think about those buffers bottoming out sooner than others, harder on the gun...as if a few thousands difference matters

And to pile on...saw the same thing on a BCM tube I installed last week.

Not a problem. Really only need the buffer retainer pin when the upper and lower aren't together.
