| I picked up a new stripped PSA upper today for a build I'm working on. I tried it on a new psa lower and the front pivot pin is fine but the rear takedown pin is extremely tight. I can get it in but have to use a nylon punch to get it out, I hit the block with some sandpaper and it's helping some, my question is will it eventually wear in or should I sand it down till it fits easier or just scrap it and grab a different upper? |

An upper that is too tight will wear in to be perfect. A perfect upper will get loose and end up sloppy/rattley. You have now sanded away your finish and ensured it will end up a rattle trap one day, congratulations. |

What do you mean they don't work right? How are they not working? Quoted:

Update, I just got my dust cover and forward assist in and neither of them work right for this upper. I believe I got my first junk part. I emailed psa and will wait to see what they say. What do you mean they don't work right? How are they not working? And yes, I assembled everything correct, this is not my first build. Even the bcg is trying to hang up with nothing else installed in the gun. |
