Does anyone have any experience with the factory reloaded stuuf that Outdoormaksman.com sells? I am looking at it for 9 mm, 45 ACP, and .223. Not home defense, SHTF stuff, just for plinking.

I've shot 1000's of the 45acp and 40s&w without any issues.

I know guys who've used Miwall reloads (the reloads sold by OMC) for several years without problem. On the recomendation of shooters who I trust, I started using OMC's Miwall reloads (9mm 115gr) for matches in ~ June of 2006 and had poor results. I lost several match stages because of problems with the ammo. I've found an occassional .38 Super, 9mm Mak, and .380 round mixed in with the 5k 9x19 rounds I've had. Many rounds had loose primers, a few had crushed case mouths. I returned my last ~3k rounds (after evaluating each 1k can) because accuracy was so bad and rounds were keyholing in as little as 7 yards. OMC told me that Miwall had dealt with some turnover of key employees (which may have resulted in poor ammo being produced), and accepted the return and refunded my money. I continue to (happily) do business with OMC (they're local), but I won't buy Miwall reloads until/unless their quality control improves significantly and the product is comparable to HSM reloads or factory new ammo.

YMMV.

I've shot about 4k rounds of Miwall reloads (9mm and .40) over the past year. Its loaded light, shoots a bit dirty, and they use wicked hard primers (only ammo I ever get light strikes from). Accuracy seems less than WWB but I haven't done any hard testing.

Its about the best deal around for practice ammo though. It has always feed reliably for me, no squibs or anything like that, and it comes in a handy ammo can. I trust it and will continue to buy more.

Only bummer is the reloads are always out of stock on their websites. I have to wait until gunshows to get it.

I just bought three cans of .223 55gr FMJ from them. I have gone through one 500 round can with approximately 8 light primer strikes from both my Mini-14 and AR-15. I have not had issues with feeding. I bought when it was $99.95 per 500. I will try Wolf next since OMC recently raised their price to $119.95 per 500 reloads which will cost me more than two cans of Wolf at Cabela's.

That being said, I would buy this from them at the gun show for the same cost as Wolf if for nothing more than reloadable brass and Ammo cans.
