| Can someone post a pic of the clp can i have never saw it and want to know what i am looking for. |
| DS I clean with the BF CLP in the aresol can..... I lube with BF CLP in the squeese bottle or BF LP in the squeese bottle. I prefer the BF LP for straight out lubeing. But BF CLP in the squeeze bottle will do decently also. But normally you will have to search a gunshop and or order it from Brownells or similar company. Wally World normally only has BF CLP in the aresol. While it does a great job on cleaning and protecting from corrsion , I don't like how thin it is ... Thats just me. But many here use the aresol for cleaning and the squeese for lube. The squeeze is thicker.... But your good to go with the aresol till you can get something thicker. Cheers and congrads on your rifle.. WarDawg |

Cheers and congrads on your rifle.. WarDawg I used to cut it with the Break-Free Bore Cleaner for use as a bore solvent when you could get it in the 32 oz can at a decent price. Now I just use Odorless Mineral Spirits and a little acetone. If you do not clean shotguns, you can skip the acetone. The only reason I put it in there is to remove plastic wad fouling from shotgun bores. If you like the smell of Hoppe's or Outers bore cleaner, you can add about 10% turpentine and there you have it. Only thing it won't do is remove heavy copper fouling, but that's what they make Sweet's 7.62 for. |
