may i ask, what is the pmag obsession about? nothing against magpul, but i just don't get why everyone is switching to them.... please enlighten... |

Flame suit on  I tried my PMAG this weekend with some silver bear ammo. Every time I used the PMAG the rifle had a FTF, round ejected, but bolt closed on empty chamber. No short stroking when using a CProducts aluminum mag. I guess I'll try some Privi M193 in it next. |
| I asked this same question in another PMag fanboy thread, specifically requesting empirical test data from a reputable testing body (like the US Army) to support the assertions that PMags are a significant improvement over GI mags. All I got were touchy-feely videos and "testimonials" from service soldiers. Nothing of substance. Sorry, in my mind its KoolAid until someone shows me some real data. |

 Sure its not scientific but taking a Humvee and running over magazines should show u that pmags hold up better than USGI or HK mags |
You know that US Army testing hasn't been made public if its happened at all, so what else do you want? If it had happened, then we would all point to it. I never read about it, but it sounded like the dust tests were pretty impressive. Are you going to start ragging on and on about how they ain't mil spec so they must be junk? |
In that last thread you are refering to, we posted a report from an Army Joint Service training unit by their OIC who was running hundreds of Pmags through their course on a daily basis. But instead of waiting for more report(s) why don't you just buy somefor your self and make up your own mind? If you don't like them send them back and I will refund your money. |
I tried to do that April 14 - and you're back-ordered!  Order 11497. I'm still waiting on my 7 PMAGs for evaluation purposes. I hope/expect they're as good as advertised. If so, I'll be getting a bunch more. Zeke |
What better proof/data do you need than the guys on the ground doing the fighting. That is the real data, not some laboratory BS. They're doing real life testing. BTW +1 PMAG |
