I just got 5 Orange PMags from GunBroker.com. when i try to release these magazines they will not drop from my rifle. My rife is a DPMS A2 and i have never had this problem with a magazine. These magazines are also loading 2 rounds at the same time. The production date on these magazines are 8/08 any ideas? Should i contacted Magpul? Thanks

Do you have another lower to check them with? IIRC MAPUL uses a "Mil-Spec" tooling jig to check each mag before shipping. This usually means your lower is not true Mil-Spec.

Sounds like you got ripped off.

Were they NIW or opened when you got them?

You may have been ripped off on gunbroker, but it ain't because of the product but rather the price.

Oh Yea,

I neglected to notice the fact that they're orange.

I think that the orange mags are training mags and not for live fire use.

Someone more knowledgeable than I should chime in and elaborate on the orange mags.

The orangs mags are the same as the other Pmags, except they are ugly.  They are that color to aid in easy retrieval after a tactical training course and such. Other than being embarrassing, they are exactly the same.
