Need some input. I have a class this coming weekend, and need about 1500 rounds of .45. I normally shoot Winchester, but, I'm not sure if my dealer can get me some in time. He has plenty of standard 230 gr PMC ammo in though, and can give me a really good price on it. I shot a little of it about a year ago, and had a couple of FTE's with it. Anyone have any input on it?

Sorry dude, never seen PMC for sale here for prices better than WWB.  I usually go to the Wal-Marts locally and clean them all out (there are 5 Wal-marts within an easy drive for me, and they usually have 3-5 valuepacks each).  Also, the new Blazer Brass is pretty good, and my local gunstore carries it for $8.99/box (or $8.09 each in the case).  Too bad I can't ship that much ammo to you...they have 6-7 cases in stock this past Wednesday.

UMC .45 ACP is good ammo also.  Usually for reasonable price.

Used a couple cases in my 45s.NO problems.
Brass reloads fine.
The only 230 ball I like better is Fed American Eagle.(more accurate for me)
If you look you can find it for about the same price.

I shoot a lot of UMC (both the yellow and now the new green/white box) and have not had any problems. I snapped it up when it's $10 a box

HAven't used it in ages, but it is dirty, cheap and reliable ammo.

At a good price I'd take it.  I've shot through a few hundred of their .45 FMJ's without issue.
