Nice case and fit, but doesn't it concern you that you are removing and replacing you optic every time you pack and unpack the rifle?
In my experience an optic sighted in then removed and returned to the same upper is very close to sighted in but not perfect. In theory it should be perfect if you always torque the fasters to the same value every time (who does that anyway?) but in practice, it doesn't seem to happen. Joe |

DID YOU CUT IT YOURSELF?
I traced the parts, scanned the image into autocad, drew over top of the scan in autocad, printed the templates out, pasted them to cardboard, cut them out to test the fit, made adjustments in autocad, then sent the dwg file to Tim at DULES CASE CENTER, VA. Their milling machine operates from dwg files and I had the case in 2 days. |

Joe I see your point but I don't plan on stretching this guy out to 300 yards although I am curious as to what kind of accuracy is possible with such a short barrel. As far as the change in impact, I can't comment. I still haven't taken this thing home yet. It's been sitting at the gun shop for over 6 months now waiting on the tax stamp. I'll be sure to comment once I get to pull the trigger. One nice thing about waiting on the atf for so long is the huge pile of ammo that's accruing in my closet. |

Joe Not true with a quality one piece mount, no longer are those days. Even an OE trijicon mount will be fine as long as it is mounted on the same rail. He will be fine |
