What can you tell me about the POF mono rail? http://www.pof-usa.com/P-416/predator12x.htm How does the raised rail above the reciever impact accuracy? I am looking for a 12-13 in. mono rail... Thanks in advance... |

Not at all that I've seen. People just like to look for things to complain about sometimes. If anything I could see running out of adjustment for some optics and sights but I haven't had a problem with mine yet with YHM buis and it's not like normal M16/AR iron sights and optics sight plane isn't high already. It's a minor difference I'd say. As for the rails be quality they definitely are and the barrel nut too. 6061 T6 aluminum and excellent machining with a very nice teflon finish over hard anodizing. One plus that I like is the rail will take all the rings scuffing the finish over time which you can than remove it and refinish it no problem.  |
