No, the POF's E2 chamber doesn't damage brass at all. It often leaves 2-3 small dark lines on the neck of the case but nothing more. I've reloaded 1000+ rounds of 5.56 (both once-fired and twice fired) that have been through my P-416 with no trouble at all.
