[ARCHIVED THREAD] - POF upper

I was considering purchasing a POF upper w a 16 in fluted barrel, railed hand guards and flat top upper. Are these reliable? I do not have any experience with them.

FWIW, I have the 416 rifle with an upper similar to what you describe. About 1k rounds through it and no problems. If you check the POF forum under "Industry", you can research "the gouge". My POF has it but I don't consider it a big deal or a purchase killer.

Excellent rifle... had mine 2 years with no FTF or FTE. Flawless fit and finish. Would not hesitate to buy again from them.

i have a 9.75", 11.5", and a 16". all have been 100% reliable.

I have a POF upper with the 16 inch barrel on my full auto receiver and it works perfect. Very accurate. Less the 5,000 rds but no failers of any kind.

I have an 11.5", so far has run 100%.
Not one failure to report.
