I  really was liking the  reviews on the prismatic , & today I got to play with one. I was really upset with the thiness of the reticle circle....Does anyone here that has one of these - find that the circle is too thin to pick up?

What lighting conditions?  Outdoors, partially lit indoors?  Did you use the illumination module or are you relying on the black reticule when unlit?

I have one with cross hairs and though they are thin I have never had any problems seeing my radical through it.
I really like my Leupold. I actually like the thinness because it allows me to see more of my target.
I like it more than a EOtec and for the money you cant go wrong!

good luck, let me know if you have any questions.

I don't find mine too thin at all...just about perfect in fact.

I used one for sometime and did not find the reticle to be to thin.  This is the first time I heard someone complain about the thinness for the reticle.

The ability to pick out any reticule against a target is dependant upon various factors:  distance to target, lighting level, contrast.  What looks good outdoors at 25 yards on a reasonably bright day may not look good indoors at 30 feet in low light.  That's why the illumination module exists.  I don't think any optic is immune to this.

Heavier reticule lines do improve the ability to pick up the reticule quickly in lower light situations, but if you design for the worst case, then you have reticule issues with other situations where the lighting and contrast are good enough, like the reticule obscuring too much surrounding area or too much of the target when in close.  It's a tradeoff.

I'm becoming more and more a fan of the thick horshoe/finer dot combo, although a circle dot is a good reticule as well.
