| Do the ported holes index on top or bottom? |
I have not used the FSC556 or the Vltor (though I REALLY want to try the FSC556) but I have used the MSTN. It is awesome. I suggested one to my friend for a 20" Colt he was setting up for 3gun and when we zeroed the rifle I was amazed. During close rapid fire, the only thing that seemed to move the rifle was a sloppy trigger squeeze. At 150m we set up a 6" popper. The only limit to how fast we could make repeated hits was the time it took for the popper to reset. The MSTN comp is fantastic. |
IF THE AR'S HAD A SMOOTH BORE, IT WOULD. THE TWIST OF THE RIFLING MAKES THE AR' WANT TO RECOIL UP AND RIGHT. THE THREE LARGE PORTS ACT MUCH LIKE THRUST REVERSERS ON A JET ENGINE, TO COUNTERACT RECOIL TO THE REAR. THE THREE SMALL PORTS AT ONE O'CLOCK COUNTERACT THE TENDANCY OF THE MUZZLE TO MOVE TO THE RIGHT. GOOD SHOOTING, WES GRANT MSTN.BIZ |
And this ladies and gentlemen is why Wes built my last upper! Unmatched knowledge! |
