[ARCHIVED THREAD] - PRI Sight/Gas Block?

I have a RanierArms UltraMatch barrel that is 18" mid length gas.....I'm now thinking about a MK12 inspired build. Can I mount the PRI flip-up sight/gas block by it self at the 12" position? Similar to some of the mid length gas, dissy builds I've seen. My barrel is .750 dia.

Check to see if the barrel tapers. If not, go for it.

Barrel does not tapper...it's a standard profile 18"

.750" at the gas port location and you are good to go.
