I would like to know if the PRI front flip up sight gas block will work with a M5RAS tube. Pics would be nice. TY

| I would not think so as the M5 RAS is not free-floating and hence secures via the handguard retainer behind the FSP. The PRI front sight, as far as I know, will not work with a handguard retainer and hence the front portion of the M5 RAS would not be connected to anything. |
I can't speak to the M5 RAS issue, but a PRI folding front sight/gas block IS compatible with a handguard cap. I installed one to fill the front opening of my Gen III front end, and used the PRI sight to retain the handguard cap in the normal manner. Obviously, a round carbine cap was used. There is clearance all the way around, and the barrel still free floats. Paladin |
