Is the 55 Grain PRVI Partisan loaded to 5.56 NATO pressure, or is it the weaker .223 SAAMI Pressure? Do they have Staked Primers? Do they have the "Black Tar" Water Sealant? How is the bullet constructed?, will it fragment just as well as Lake City M-193? Are there any Gel tests I can look at? How about the Centurion stuff?, same Questions. |

Yes PRVI 55g 193 is, and is right in line with known XM193 muzzle velocities. Centurion is loaded a bit more like a hot .223 then mil-spec 556, although the brass is marked M193. About 400fps slower on average. But consistent and accurate, good 'budget' brass utility/range ammo, I wouldn't have any problems depending on it if I had to either. PRVI is excellent for the money. Both are great deals right now, as for what we call 'cheap' these days. The reviews section has all of this covered. |
