I have no experience with this ammo or ant PRVI ammo.  It seems to be reasonably priced.  What are your experiences with it?

From my experience, it's GTG, and that is the consensus that I hear from others as well.  The only thing I have seen is that the red primer sealant tends to get all over your bolt, but that's pretty minor for such a reasonably priced round.

It's not XM193.  It's M193.  Good ammo.  Read the ammo review for PRVI.

I ran 300 rounds of this stuff through my Sabre middy the other weekend and it is shockingly clean. Aside from a little bit of red primer sealant inside my bolt, there was hardly any carbon deposited in the upper and what little bit was there wiped away with ease.

It has probably been posted around here somewhere, but I am wondering how this stuff frags compared to XM193.

The PRVI M193 ammo is gtg. It's very close to the speed and power of the Federal/Lake City XM193 specs (without all of the case dents of the latter) and depending on where you find it, it can occasionally be had at a decent number. Widener's was selling it last month for $350/1000 shipped before the election.

I bought 1k of this.. shot a bunch and bought another k yesterday.  Seems to be the best deal out there for decent quality ammo.  The  red primer sealant does get in the bolt but its not too bad to clean.  ammoman has them for 379/k shipped ( which is a few dollars more than wideners right now but i think you'll get them quicker ).

I shot a carbine course with Prvi last spring and did not have one single malf with the ammo. The little flecks of red primer sealant clean up with little effort and are a non-issue.
