| I've decided to go with PSA for my first AR. I am gonna buy a 16" middy complete upper, stripped blem lower, and classic LPK from PSA and assemble the lower myself. Are all these good quality parts? Any advice for building the lower? I'm also going to get an MBUS for my rear sight. Thanks. |

You'll be good to go. If you're not a fan of the mil spec trigger but still want to keep it low cost, the ALG ACT/QMS are both quality, affordable solutions.
. For assembling the lower, just watch for flying detents. And watch a video showing how to do things. A roll pin holder and pair of tape wrapped vice grips are your friends. |
| i used several parts from PSA when assembling my first AR. you wont go wrong with their stuff. i built the entire thing, upper and lower having never even held an AR much less shot one. i watched a few videos on youtube and assembled it in maybe 15 mins. very easy to do and it's good to know how everything works. i just wish i'd waited a few more months to buy the stuff, i couldve saved even more money. |

Trigger is going to be hit or miss. I'd get a LPK without FCG and get your trigger of choice. What makes you say that? I've built like 5 or 6 lowers with PSA LPK's and all the triggers have felt great. Some better than a lot of higher end branded AR's mil spec triggers felt. |

I got a stripped lower locally and all other parts from psa. 16" mid length heavy barrel, magpul lpk, standard bcg and charge handle.

What is the difference between these 2 Lower build kits?
Enhanced http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/lower-parts/build-kits/palmetto-state-armory-enhanced-lower-build-kit-blk.html Classic http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/lower-parts/build-kits/palmetto-state-armory-classic-lower-build-kit.html Why is the "Enhanced" cheaper? |

This has been my experience as well, I sold one trigger that I had replaced with a Geissele and the guy who bought it, loved it. If you stone the engagement surfaces, it will break like glass, just a bit heavier than the Geissele. |

PSA quirk? I don't know, sometimes they do stuff like that. I don't know if the pic is representative of the actual product, but the buffer looks like the only difference. |

Mags, rear sight or optic and be sure your upper has a BCG and charging handle and you should be ready for the range. A sling, even a cheapy, is helpful. I'll be buying an MBUS for the rear sight most likely. The upper does have a bolt carrier and charging handle. I might pick up a cheap GI sling, I have one on a 10/22 that I like. |

Iirc, the enhanced comes with a 7075 buffer tube - which is the real mil spec vs the standard kit that comes with the 6061 tube. No difference unless you're gonna be using your buffer tube for a pry bar. And I believe the 7075 tube comes with the grey dry lube or whatever it is on the inside. |

Thanks I like that BUIS. |
