| Helped a friend with a PSA build this morning. He bought a stripped lower, a lower build kit and an assembled 16" CL HF Light Weight upper. Everything went together easily, and I dare say the trigger pull is significantly better than my DD LPK trigger. It has hardly any take-up and has a crisp break. It was his first AR and was very pleased with the outcome. We function checked, and then dumped a few mags through it before the snow started coming down! Pics of this build to follow once he sends them to me. |
| I used the PSA MOE Plus LPK. The trigger felt really nice fomo the get go. I did modify things by using the set screw through the grip screw hole. I only took up what slack I could without modifying the trigger. I also installed a set of JPS 3.5lb springs. The pull is short, smooth and lighter. I am very happy with the PSA LPK. |

How was the accuracy and build of the upper? Everything look good? I am thinking about a PSA upper for my build and would like to know. Accuracy was good. I was shooting 2" groups with M855 from 50 yards and iron sights, forend rested on a bag. Fit and finish were good as well. Still waiting on pics, I should have copied them directly to my computer before he left! |
