| Hey guys I am wondering how tough and reliable and really just how good a weapon Palmetto State Armory puts out. I am general interested in their bolt carrier group. Says all the good stuff, MPI HP tested..sounds good to me. Anyone with any experience with em? |
| Their premium BCG (logo, HPT/MPI) should be GTG but I'd definitely pass on the cheaper 8620 bolt/carrier. I have their second best, the MP M16 BCG which has been good, very nice carrier but not so good gas key and screws (which I'll likely replace). The non-M16 BCG seems ok but I'd pass since the premium isn't much more. I would have passed on the MP M16 BCG too but the premium hadn't been in stock for months when I bought a few months ago. |
| I haven't actually got to the range yet, but I just recently built one of their premium Dissipators with a Stag lower. When I got the upper I was pretty impressed with the build and quality of the firearm. So there's that. From what I've heard around here, they have a very good reputation. They can be slow at times shipping, because of the demand, but that's about it. I also have their Buffer tube assembly and it fits like a glove. Great quality parts. |
